REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

​We are seeking a committed and qualified mobile vendor to provide daily coffee service at the Factory on 5th to be governed by a lease agreement that includes dedicated space under a covered patio, furnished communal seating, dedicated storage space, access to an interior restroom, use of an exterior portable restroom, water, electricity, wifi, and waste management at a cost of $965 per month.

FACTORY ON 5TH

The Factory on 5th, pink quonset hut, is a cultural arts venue in the vibrant heart of East Austin. 
  • We maintain an art gallery and working artist studio open to the public.
  • We facilitate weekly drawing sessions drawing an average audience size of 12-24 participants.
  • We organize special events and partner with local cultural arts organizations to hold events including visual art, live music, theatre, dance, and private parties. 
    • Events vary in size from 50-250 attendees with an average of 130 attendees per event.
    • During the months of October, November, December, March, April & May we host an average of 6 events per month.
    • During the months of June, July, August, September, January & February we host an average of 4 events per month.

Our location and parking is ideal for commuters. Neighboring coffee businesses lack the accessibility we have that allow commuters using the main East Austin thoroughfare to downtown to quickly stop for breakfast tacos and coffee.
​​We are located on two primary bicycle routes. East 5th street  is  the only street paved with dedicated bicycle lanes connecting East and Southeast Austin to downtown and the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail connects to the Southern Walnut Creek trail via East 5th Street. ​
We are located in the heart of the East Austin Arts District.
